Connecting Careers
This week we did research in the STEM cluster. My two careers I researched were Sociologist and Zoologists/Wildlife Biologists. I noticed a lot of similarities within these two careers. One being they both do a lot of research. The Sociologist does a lot of research while studying people with mental disorders, they try to find new ways to reach out to those people and get them back on track and or cure them completely. A Z/W Biologist (Zoologist/Wildlife Biologist) is very similar even though they have two completely different topics. The Z/W Biologist does a lot of research on animals. They love to explore and they try to find new specimen that we have not discovered yet. Included in this section (The reason I picked this career) is a Marine Biologist. They explore species in the oceans. They are currently doing research on the giant squid, trying to find it, to see if it's real, a myth, or extinct. Like I said, they have to do a lot of research in order to do these things. The connection I made with my two careers is they both do research. Which I love to do.
